The Quran is the companion in all matters and concerns of life. It is equally applicable to this worldly life and the hereafter. It can be a foundational guide for children to lead a balanced and blessed life. When we discover the benefits of learning the Quran for kids, we witness the practical benefits of the Quran for our children. Parents are possessive about their children. So, if you want your child to excel in life, teach him/her the Quran. He will not only become a frugal person but also be a source of Blessings for you.

5 Benefits for kids to Learn Quran

Let’s know how the Quran becomes influential for the rest of a child’s life.

1. Protection From Diseases

Allah is the truth, and all that is said by Him is the obvious truth. He says, in the Qur’an, this Quran is a cure for the believers. Thus, who of us wouldn’t love to see his children protected from the diseases? So, learning the Quran sets the children free from evil and physical calamities thanks to the blessed influence of the holy Quran. It is narrated that the Prophet صلىاللهعليهوسلم would sometimes recite Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas and then blow on his body as there is Shifa in these Surahs. The Companions would also recite the Holy Quran for Shifa, and Allah would cure them.

2. Develops Connection with Allah in Young Age

Let your child play and grow, but make sure his upbringing contains an ingredient to be with Allah. However, when you steer your child to the code of the Quran, he will learn how to build a connection with Allah. When we love and read the Holy Quran, Allah blesses us. If we forget, Alla says life might feel a bit tight. So, let’s always remember His special words! Building a connection with Almighty Allah is to make a bond with the holy Quran.

The benefit of having a deep relationship with the Holy Quran is that a person gets the blessings of Allah. And this is a blessed advice We have sent down. So, whoever is going to recite the Quran will get the blessings of Allah. Whoever will show negligence, Allah says I’ll make his life narrow.  Must enroll them in quran classes for kids to let them understand quran in young age.

3. Source of Blessings for Home

A child turns prematurely mature when he indulges in the Qur’an learning. He finds solace and peace in Quran recitation. Some people, despite having all worldly facilities, lack peace in their hearts. One difficulty ends, and another begins. A scholar notes that wealthy people with the means to perform Umrah daily, may never visit the House of Allah. Their hearts, devoid of peace, lead to tears when sharing problems. Contrastingly, the scholar recounts seeing a laborer building a Masjid, finding comfort sleeping on hot sand during a break. Allah blessed him with peace.

Similarly, our homes lack blessings when we do not tend to advise our children to learn the Quran. We possess the Quran but fail to act upon it: no relationship, no recitation, no teaching. So, teaching the Quran to children is a source of Blessings at home.

4. Teaches the Importance of Deen

It’s easy to say but reciting the Quran 60 times a month isn’t easy. Achieving such abundance requires a love for the Quran comparable to a young man’s love for a girl. Our elders, waking at night, eagerly recited the Quran in the Musallah like a married man’s enthusiasm for his wife. Today, our relationship with the Quran is limited to tradition. When a house is built, a Quran is placed; at weddings, the Quran hovers over brides, even if unread for years. Parents get upset if a child skips school, but if the Quran remains untouched for years, they show little concern. When a child learns the Quran, he realizes the importance of the Quran and Deen (religion) in the lives of the Muslims.

5. Source of Spiritual Fitness

Like physical fitness, spiritual fitness is also imperative for us. The holy Koran is the best source of spiritual fitness for a child. From this Hadith, we know that our heart behaves like a metal. Just like metal gets rusted, our hearts also get rusted. The meaning of the heart getting rusted is that it gets spiritually ill. There are a few reasons for that. Among them are the love of this world and the things in it and getting in love with Na-Mahram women. Sometimes, other spiritual diseases are overcome, like jealousy, lust, pride, etc.

Conclusion

The Quran shares countless benefits and divine privileges with us. The holy Quran is the most blessed shower of Allah. Teaching the Quran brings innumerable benefits to kids. Do not let your child be deprived of this great blessing. Arrange a good Quran instructor in your area dedicatedly or enroll him in an online Quran Academy.
